Catching snowflakes

It's snowing.
You heard me right: it's October 26 and there's snow on the ground. It started snowing yesterday afternoon, and it was supposed to melt. Ha. We heard both the salt truck and the plow this morning.
School wasn't cancelled, though, so Bill still had to go to work. Luckily, his boots were in the closet and not in storage like we initially thought.
Marah likes her bunting bag, which was actually one of the first things we bought her (I was thinking ahead to the chilly Quebec winter). She wasn't so keen on the snow, especially as it landed on her face and melted.
She stuck her tongue out a few times in what looked like a valiant attempt to catch snowflakes. She actually needed to spit up.
Oops.
Marah's five weeks old and we've seen summer weather and winter weather already. There was a bit of fall in there, I think. Was that what all that rain was about?
